Defensive Driving Course Discount
You can receive this discount if the principal operator of the vehicle is at least age 55 and has voluntarily and successfully completed a Motor Vehicle Accident Prevention course approved by the Department of Licensing within the last two years.Good Driving Discount
You may be eligible to receive this discount if each of the drivers in the household has had no moving violations and no at-fault accidents during the past three years. The private passenger vehicle receiving the discount must also be insured with Brooks Insurance Group.Good Student Discount
All male and unmarried female drivers under 25 who are full-time students in high school or at a college or university, and the scholastic records for the immediately preceding school semester show that this student meets at least one of the following:- Ranked scholastically in the upper 20% of his or her class
- Had a grade average of B or higher
- Had a grade point average of 3.0 (out of 4.0) or higher
- Was included in the Dean's List or Honor Roll
Students who are enrolled in a home study program may qualify if they satisfy the scholastic requirement by submitting evidence that they ranked in the upper 20% on one of the following national standardized tests, administered within the last 12 months:
- PSAT
- PLAN
- SAT-1
- ACT
- TAP
- California Achievement Test
Multiple Automobiles Discount
You may be eligible for this discount if you meet all of the following criteria:- There are two or more private passenger automobiles primarily driven by persons residing at the address.
- The vehicles are insured with Brooks Insurance Group.
- The owners of the vehicles reside in the same household and A) are related by marriage, blood or adoption, or B) for two unrelated owners, they must jointly own the vehicles and both be designated as named insureds on the policies.
Multiple Line Discount
You may be eligible for this discount if you meet at least one of the following criteria:- You are the named insured on a Brooks Insurance Group homeowner policy (including a manufactured home, condominium, farm/ranch, or renters policy) covering your principal residence.
- You are the named insured or owner of an individual Brooks Insurance Group life insurance product (excluding all annuities, all tax qualified life insurance products, and paid-up life insurance with a face value of less than $1,000).
- You are the named insured or owner of an individual Brooks Insurance Group health insurance policy (excluding Disability Income Payment Protection Plan, Individual Credit Disability Income, and Short Term Hospital Surgical).
Passive Restraint Discount
1993 and prior vehicles equipped with a factory-installed air bag or other passive restraint system which meets federal safety standards will receive a discount on the premium for Personal Injury Protection Coverage.Safe Boaters
